Ingredients
Our bar contains real ingredients and natural caffeine, made by our team in Southern California. We wanted a product that had a robust amount of caffeine and a substantial amount of protein without too many bulky carbohydrates, and we wanted it to taste good. So, we settled on these 14 badass compounds to help us achieve that.
Caffeine:
Being a caffeinated protein bar, this ingredient's importance goes without saying. We captured 150mg of all-natural caffeine to give our customers energy for before.
Seeds:
These guys are small but mighty. Both sunflower and pumpkin seeds are full of essential nutrients and powerful antioxidants. Not only do they have awesome health benefits but also a great crunchy texture.
Coconut:
One of the most versatile fruits (yes, fruits) in the game, its natural fiber, and healthy fat contribute to our bar's smooth texture, while its delicious flavor made it an ingredient we had to include.
Dates:
The base ingredient of Boom Bar Version 1 still plays a pivotal role in version 36. A lot of healthy bars like ours contain dates and for a good reason. Dates are a great natural sweetener, packed full of potassium and antioxidants.
Pea Protein Crisps:
Pea Protein is a plant-based, gluten-free, and lactose-free protein source. Its sustainable nature and unique texture make it our preferred protein source. Its nutrition profile and ease-of-digestibility should make it yours.
Tapioca Syrup:
Derived from the cassava plant, tapioca syrup is an excellent source of fiber and acts as a natural binder helping to hold our bar together.
Soluble Tapioca Fiber:
It's in the name! Much like its closely related partner tapioca syrup, We use this sticky ingredient for its awesome fiber content and ability to hold our bar together.
Maple Syrup:
Pure maple syrup gives a touch of sweetness and a sense of familiarity to each bite of our bar while putting refined sugar to shame with a healthy dose of essential vitamins and minerals.
Cocoa Powder:
Remember that powder you used to use to make chocolate milk? We use it to give our bar a subtle chocolate flavor.
Coffee:
Back when it was just us and a blender, we used coffee as the primary caffeine source and main ingredient. Now, we use natural caffeine extract for most of our caffeine, but we wanted to keep coffee for its unmistakable flavor.
Sea Salt:
Because who doesn't like their bar a little sweet and salty.
Cinnamon:
Cinnamon adds a certain flavor complexity that we fell in love with and has many positive health benefits.
Monkfruit:
Monkfruit is one of the oldest most well-documented natural sweeteners. We add just a pinch to make our bar the perfect balance of bitter and sweet.
